It's not a 'slick system'. Adding rod holders requires a Lund Boat owner to pay big bucks for installation. It's intentionally made difficult in order to boost profits for Lund dealers.

I have a 2020 1875 Impact XS ...my boat sits between the wheel fenders, giving it about an inch of clearance between the boat and fender....the boat in this video shows the boat sitting above the fenders... can you tell me the model of the Shorelander trailer, my also is a Shorelander trailer. What is the ticket price for this boat?
Through the dealer, after freight and setup it was like $46k out the door. I just left the dealership. But it was a cc not the ss. Before the freight and setup it was like $42k. It was also a 150hp. My bad, the one I just mentioned was the 2070. The 1870 was like $39k out the door.

@@darkbikelife4270 I just picked up my 2070 cc today. I might do a video on it in a few weeks after I've had it in the water a few times. I'm still waiting on my trolling motor to get here. It'd be awesome to compare notes with you. There was literally NOTHING on these boats other than a few dealership vids and promos. I traded in my Tracker Pro Guide deep v 175. Pros and cons to both for sure.
@@hulkhuggett Brother, I am right there with you! I ordered in like October. I was told the boat had a status of “loaded” like a week ago so It should be here soon. During this time I check periodically on the internet/youtube for new content so I know exactly what you mean. There is absolutely zero first hand owner reviews or anything. I also am going to need to do electronics, as this is going to be a fishing boat. I think its going to be the 24v Terrova 80 and a helix 7 or 9 at the console for now. I look forward to seeing your content.
@@darkbikelife4270 I started out years ago with a tracker 1754, then upgraded to the crestliner deluxe 1860 jon, then in 21 I bought the the lund predator 1760...and now I'm on the Lund Predator 1870....IMO the Lund has all my previous jon's beat in quality by a decent amount...1760 was good but the 1870 is just the right size imo...One thing I really appreciate with the predator is The grippy floor " kind of like rhino liner" so it's not so slippery when damp. I have the 24v Terrova you mentioned and it's plenty for the boat. I run a Helix 9 on mine and it's great but I can't for the life of me get readings at speeds above 20mph so I'm going to try the y cable adapter and add the high speed transducer. Only real change I've made with mine was added composite bunk boards instead of the gatorbak synthetic that came with mine; Those were difficult to push the boat off. And I changed the stock livewell bilge to a timed one so I wasn't forgetting to turn it on. Solid Solid Boat!
Just purchased the 1775 Adventure Sport w/115 Merc and am looking forward to ice-out in the spring so I can take her out on the water. I'm not crazy atout the cubby hole storage bins as I would have preferred locking storage compartments but it would have been another $7k to move up the the 1775 Impact to get latching bins.

I think the Rebel XS was a better outfitted configuration. They released the Adventure to replace the XS, but the XS was actually better configured than the Adventure as well.
Awesome boat! Those rear roller guides need to go, though. They definitely could come in contact with those raised Lund letters when loading or unloading. No good.
